Installed iOS 7 Beta 1 that Apple just released today and not liking it? You can NOT downgrade iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.3 even if you want to. Apple typically allows users to downgrade to a stable build from a beta release. However, this is not the case this time around. Once you upgrade to iOS 7, there is no way to downgrade to iOS 6 from 7. So, before you update your device to iOS 7, please be aware that you CANNOT downgrade it and will then have to stick with the beta version.
Apple clearly tells this on their developer website:
This is a pre-release version of iOS 7 beta for iPhone and iPod touch. Devices updated to iOS 7 beta can not be restored to earlier versions of iOS.
Here is the screenshot:
We recommend that you don’t install the beta version of a device that you rely on, like your basic iPhone or an iPad that you use quite often. Apple iOS 7 has lots of new features that users will find interesting but it’s still the very early build of iOS and could have some bugs yet to be ironed out. So, installing it on your main device will be risky.
You cannot just uninstall iOS 7 and install iOS 6.1.3 on any device. So beware before installing it.
Update: Despite what Apple says, you can actually downgrade iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.x while in DFU mode. We have posted a detailed step by step guide here: how to downgrade iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.x in DFU mode.
